Extensions
We are experts at constructing top quality home extensions that look like they’ve always been there! Whether you want to build on a new kitchen-diner, extra bathroom, comfy conservatory or anything else we’ll offer the best building solution and have you enjoying your completely fitted and finished enlarged space before you know it. We also build and repair out-buildings, from garages to cow-sheds.
Conversions
Over the years we’ve converted all sorts of structures into beautiful new, useful buildings. We’ve turned broken barns into bespoke grand designs, old warehouses into workshops, attics into bright bedrooms, offices into apartments and adapted awkward spaces into an accessible living environment for the physically challenged. Restorations
Transforming a tired old property requires sympathetic treatment to return it to its original condition. We’ve worked on a large number of restorations on buildings of all ages, making structural repairs from underpinning the footings to replacing Cotswold stone roof tiles. We have experts available in all disciplines, including plastering, re-pointing, roofing and joinery, all experienced in sensitive building restoration.
New Builds
When it comes to constructing new builds, we don’t cut corners. We use only the very best materials allowed by the budget, and deliver a high standard of workmanship with meticulous attention to detail, to ensure a perfect high-spec finish, from foundations to roof ridge. We are proud of our portfolio of new build homes and commercial premises, all completed on schedule.
Roofing
We carry out natural stone tiling and all aspects of roofing from industrial through to general repairs of modern houses along with the rebuilding of chimneys and leadwork. All is carried to the highest of standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Listed Buildings
Ian Nurden Ltd is also a building restoration and stonemasonry contractor specialising in working on historic building such as churches and other heritage properties. Using appropriate materials and craftmanship based around tractional restoration techniques and modern refurbishment methods, we complete restoration projects to complement the original building.
Commercial
For many Wiltshire companies we are the first port of call when it comes to maintenance and repairs on their properties. We’ve re-furbished a Silvey Fuels station, for example, and renovated their truckstop, and carried out a large replastering contract at RAF Fairford.
